Wireless Printing

Faculty, staff, and students at the Columbus Campus should follow these steps to manually connect to a printer over the wireless network. Please ensure, however, that you are first are connected to the wireless and that you have administrative privileges to your PC.

Download Printer install Program

WirelessPrintInstaller.msi
  1. Download program Here
  2. Double click program to start install
  3. Click next on the next three windows. Leave defaults on third screen.
  4. The next screen will show where the printer is that you are installing, click Install.
  5. Select the school affiliation and then enter in your username and password. (Do not preface your username with ADS\, Ivytech\, SWT\, or AD\). Click OK to install.
  6. A window will appear that indicates the program has finished properly. Click OK to close. You are now ready to print.
  7. Your account at this point will be charged and the job will print out at the printer(s) next to the release stations.

Map printer manually

  1. Go to your Start menu.
  2. In search bar type \\lcps1.ad.columbuslearningcenter.org\WirelessPrint
  3. You may be prompted to login (username must have ADS\, Ivytech\, SWT\, or AD\ in front of it).
  4. Will prompt you to install driver, select yes.
  5. When printing, make sure to select the WirelessPrint Printer so that it will be sent to the proper place.
  6. Go to a release station and enter in your username and passphrase (username must have ADS\, Ivytech\, SWT\, or AD\ in front of it)
  7. Select your print job and press the print button.
  8. Your account at this point will be charged and the job will print out at the printer(s) next to the release stations.
